How billing works

Do users cost extra?
No. Office users are free and unlimited, and anyone can answer calls anywhere in the desktop or mobile app at no extra cost. To make outside calls away from the office, a person needs a remote seat ($5/month), which covers their emergency (911) address. Every direct line includes one.
What does testing cost?
Nothing. Test numbers are free.
Why is there a $5 verification fee?
It confirms your business is real. The full $5 is credited back to your balance.
What’s the difference between a business line and a direct line?
A business line is a number for your main entrance or for a team line, with menus, queues and routing, and adds $20 to your monthly calling allowance. You can move a number between your main entrance and team lines anytime. A direct line rings one person or purpose, includes a remote seat, and adds $10.
Do I get any free credit?
Yes. Every account gets $2 of calling credit after setup, and the $5 verification fee is credited back too.
How does included credit work with several numbers?
Each number adds its price to a shared monthly allowance. Any call, on any number, outgoing or from your website, uses it first. What’s left resets at the end of the month.
Do you support Canada?
Not yet. We’re launching in the US first, and Canada is coming soon.
How long are call recordings kept?
You choose 90 days, 1 year or 2 years in your settings (0.2¢, 0.5¢ or 1¢ per recorded minute). A change applies to new recordings. Ones you already have keep their period and stay playable until it ends.
Can I bring my existing number?
Yes, at no extra cost. Choose “Bring my number” when you set up a line. Moving it usually takes 1–3 weeks, and you use a temporary number until it’s done. You can check your number above.
